ISSUES
These are the major issues that Ben believes we need to address:
FUNDING
We don't have the money to sustain our school district. We either need to prepare to pass referendums every four years, find a way to acquire more funds, or come up with a plan on how to move forward with only the funds we have. Ben will work with his colleagues on the School Board and administration to make sure that resources are allocated properly.

FLEXIBILITY
Not everyone learns the same way or at the same speed. Students should be able to work at their own pace, utilizing a variety of teaching methods. We also need to allow our teachers to work using methods that highlight their strengths as educators.

OVERSIGHT
Teachers need to be allowed to perform their jobs without too much interference from those who don't know about the educational process. Through his time in the military, Ben has developed a deep understanding of the chain of command and will ensure a proper bottom-to-top and top-to-bottom flow of information and issues.
